Mario Almondo is an Italy engineer, currently Operations Director of the Ferrari Formula One team.
Career
Almondo studied Engineering and Industry Management at the Politecnico di Milano of Milan. After brief spells as a Lecturer, in Military service and in Italian industry, he joined Ferrari in 1991 Formula One season as an Engineer. After working both in Ferrari's road and race car divisions, he was promoted to become Industrial Director of the F1 operation in 1995 Formula One season.
Following Ross Brawn's decision to leave Ferrari in October 2006 Formula One season, Almondo took his role of Technical Director.[1]. On 12th November 2007 he was made operations director[2].
